blaze blue calamity trigger is a fighting game developed by Arc System Works.

    story
i haven't play the blazeblue before so i don't know much about the story so this is off wikipediaPrior to the events of BlazBlue, humanity was on the verge of extinction from the "Black Beast", a creature of Darkness. The world was saved by six heroes who wielded magic. They helped humanity create "Armagus", a fusion of magic and technology, to defeat the Beast.
After the war, the Novus Orbis Librarium (the Library or NOL for short) was created to govern the world with the use of Armagus. A great deal of dissent was caused by the Library, partly due to Armagus' use in nearly every facet of society, and the widening socioeconomic gap between those who could and couldn't use Armagus. This dissent would eventually form years later into The Ikaruga Civil War, when the Ikaruga Union openly rebelled against the Library. After the war, the Library imposed a harsher rule on the world, punishing any rebellion against the Library with the death penalty.
In December A.D. 2199, several years after the Ikaruga Civil War, a branch of the Library was utterly destroyed by an SS-class rebel named "Ragna the Bloodedge" also known as the "Grim Reaper", in an attempt to destroy the entire Library. The Novus Orbis Librarium, hoping to stop him, immediately announced the largest bounty ever, available to anyone who could capture him. Interestingly, Ragna possesses a powerful form of Armagus known as the "Azure Grimoire" (Grimoire of the Blue in Japan), also known as the BlazBlue. This led the Librarium, as well as the Ikaruga Union and other fighters, to hunt Ragna not just for his bounty, but also his grimoire.all from wikipedia

    GRAPHICS
The graphics for this game are rather well done. As mentioned in the intro, all characters are presented in a Japanese anime style, with the fighting areas done as 3-D backdrops. The backgrounds are wonderfully designed and detailed. The character designs are all very unique from each other, and those familiar with the Guilty Gear series will have a good idea of what to expect from the character sprites in battle.

    sound
very nice intro song. it is made by Daisuke Ishiwatari same guy who compose the song for guilty gear

    gameplay
There are four buttons that you can attack with, plus an additional for taunting if you enjoy doing so. All buttons are customizable, to your liking, so I'll simply go over the various types. There are basically four types of attack. Weak, Medium, Strong, and Drive attacks. As with most other fighters, weak attacks do little damage, but are very fast and repeatable, medium attacks have a bit more oomph but less speed, and so on so forth. Drive attacks are basically your character's special attacks. Most if not all of these attacks have special properties or work in ways that make each character very unique. For instance, Ragna's Drive attacks drain HP with every hit, while Jin's attacks freeze his opponents. By adding directions or motions with these attack buttons, you get special moves. You can also build up a Heat gauge which provides energy for performing Distortion Drives (super special attacks) or Astral Heats (finishing moves) among other special moves.Defensively, there are also many features, such as Barriers which prevent chip damage (damage that occurs when a special attack hits through a block), guard breaks which occur if you defend for too long, and even penalties for fleeing from your opponent to stall, and move cancels to suddenly break away from an opponent.Unlike some other fighters like Tekken, you are able to combo not only on the ground, but in the air as well, in addition, you can also perform throws easily within a combo, or even in the air, giving players a wide variety of combat options.BlazBlue offers quite a bit of gameplay. There's the traditional Arcade mode where you can select a character, and fight past 10 opponents, or story mode where you can immerse yourself in the lore of BlazBlue with story event battles. The game also features local and online multiplayer, so feel free to duke it out with friends or challenge yourself with the online scene. You can also record and review replays of battles, view special artwork or listen to the game's BGM, practice in Training mode, challenge yourself in Score Attack mode, and even play BlazBlue on your PSP from your PS3 by Remote Play, virtually allowing you to play BlazBlue anywhere you have an internet connection! THE BEST PART IS THER IS NO LAG WHEN YOU PLAY ONLINE!!!!
